No Seatbelt No Excuse

AXA Insurance, No Seatbelt No Excuse

.

This is a terrifying commercial brought to you by AXA Insurance. Seat belt is not only meant to save yourself, but your loved one too.

“This video really makes a vivid point, that is exactly what does and will happen if you don’t wear a seatbelt and get into an accident(the NHTSA paid me to say that)”

Fantastic – most people don’t realise that backseat passengers without seatbelts will often fly forward in a collision (even over the backs of front seats) and break the neck of the person directly in front of them.

Wow, that is powerful. You never really think that people in your car not wearing a seatbelt could be a threat to you.

That is the exact argument I have used with 100% success on people who “don’t wear seat belts” in my car - I just tell them that I don’t care if they die, but I don’t need their carcass smashing into and killing me.

this was produced for the Department of the Environments Road safety section in Northern Ireland. They have made several award winning adverts to highlight the dangers of no seatbelt/speeding and drink driving.

Jeez, adults are so stupid. I have put the link as the url on this comment. Right click it and choose “save target as…”
Alternativly, paste this link into Internet Explorer or a download manager if you have one : http://208.100.1.88/media_content/LwW44Eg4Lx.wmv

The video does get the point across, i went looking for it espesially. I remember seeing it a few years ago and it really stuck in my mind.

OK. This is WAY better but it is mp4 so you have to use quicktime instead of WindowsMediaPlayer. Right click and “save targer as…” like before or paste into Internet Explorer (I use Opera).

Still not perfect for full screen presentations, I know, but quite good quality.
