This is a good game sneak preview from PCGamer. Below is a comprehensive list of all(at least I think so)promising PCgames slated for 2007 release.By “promising” I mean games with big chances of scoring at least AA, while extremely small chances of scoring below 7. I’ve tried choosing only games made by experienced developers(who made good games in the past) or for other reasons promising.

STRATEGY GAMES

World in Conflict

World in Conflict is a real-time strategy game developed by Massive Entertainment, the team behind Ground Control. The game takes you to an alternate version of present-day Earth in which the Soviet Union still exists.

Field Ops

Field Ops is a self-proclaimed RTS Shooter, which combines the RTS and FPS playstyles into a single strategy game.

Galactic Civilizations 2: Dark Avatar

This expansion for Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords adds new opponents, the ability to create custom opponents, new units and a new campaign, while greatly expanding the gameplay of Galactic Civilizations II.

Crysis is a Sci-Fi FPS game for the PC, where mankind must struggle to survive in the face of an alien invasion. It’s likely to be THE prettiest game available on any platform when it’s released.

Chrome 2

Original Chrome (2003) was good FPS shooter that had lots of unrealised potential. Since then Techland has been consistently improving and their last title:XPandRally has 85% average at GameRankings we can propably expect good things from this game

SIMULATION

Silent Hunter IV

The best submarine simulation series is returning. In 2005 SilentHunter 3 set new standarts for this subgenre(and Gamespot gave it 8.9). Now the series is returning. The game will take place in Pacific Theatre.

Space Force 2 is an open-ended space exploration game, allowing you to adventure or trade around the galaxy.

RACE: the WTCC game

Simbin follows up its GTR 2 success with another great PC racing sim, this time set in the World Touring Car series. Fantastic attention to detail; great visuals; thrilling online racing.
