From the Ancient Apple I to the latest Apple MacBook Air, this innovative company has changed the way we use computer, the way we listen to the music and even the way we use the phone. But why is it called Apple??
March 1, 1976 Because Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak were going into business, they needed a name for their company. According to Wozniak, it was Jobs who thought up the name for their new computer company one afternoon as the two drove along Highway 85 between Palo Alto and Los Altos.

The Eiffel Tower in Paris was one of the finalists of the New7Wonders but has not been elected to represent global heritage throughout history. But the history of the tower was quite interesting.

Built in 1889 for the International Exhibition of Paris in order to commemorate the centenary of the French Revolution, the tower was hardly accepted by many people. The tower was met with resistance from the public when it was built, with many calling it an eyesore.
It is even said that the novelist Guy de Maupassant claimed to hate the tower. Despite that, he usually ate lunch at the Tower’s restaurant. When asked why, he answered that it was the one place in Paris where you couldn’t see the Tower.
